Convincing poem ; every writer deals with such procrastination.
We think of writing something, but then it's too late ...
"of whimsies caught in cloud
covers' haunting afflictions"
Beautifully written.
this poem leads me to say, it is indeed a "fatally tainted day" when a loved one is gone, lost forever... yet their life and its meaning are always held in "sweet poetry" in our mind and definitely in our heart.. I may have misread your poem Paloma, forgive me, it's where your words led my mind... it is beautifully written Paloma, one I will bookmark and re read often... thank you..
There is a magical dreamy feel to this one, Paloma. Loved the alliteration. We all need poetry....it is our addiction. This was beautifully written. Lydi**
Hello, Paloma! :)
I've read this a few times, a few days ago and today. I think it's great! I've been thinking of a comment to leave. It is my favorite of the poems you have posted.

Very kind of you to say Matt. I'm grateful for your kind words, thank you. :)
There is such a beautiful, haunting darkness in your words. Here is the longing for the poem refusing to be written. You know how deeply this connects to all of us here at the cafe.

I rather thought that some poets could relate. Thanks so much for your kind words.
Another speck of carbon, this one.
Sentient and sagacious, yet affable.
Advocate of Fantasy and Gaming, this one.
Artistic and pugnacious, yet subtle. more..
