For You.

For You.

A Poem by Bare trees

For you...

I'll gather eternal futures
and recite verses
from endless planets.

With every star
that sparks the sky,
I'll direct their light
on my devotion
for the whole world to see.

We'll watch yesterday
drift away
in swirls
of sunset ripples.

I appreciate the review, thanks.
Short and sweet can say so much more than a 100 lined poem. Good work!

Thank you Olivia.
This poem is absolutely terrific - faultless.

Every word has an impact, nothing is redundant/superfluous.

It's one of the best poems I've encountered on WritersCafe.

Actually as much as I like the flowers in the field. This one might be a close favourite! I love the way you articulate your words. It paints a vividly clear picture in your head! Keep it up!😊
