Tea on a Pale Blood MoonA Poem by Pakino
A pale ghost of night Illuminates my eyes Ready to move without waver Silently peacefully I stare at the tea before me Ripples, a relfection of the soul Without warning the glass tips Spreading blood through my fingertips Looking back at tainted ground The air cuts asunder before me Rain of blood drenches my clothes Blood on my mouth, blood on my soul Standing up the brittle glass shatters Like rain I calm my soul Walking away from death Walking away from my bitter tea © 2008 PakinoAuthor's Note
