Double EdgedA Poem by Pakino
Where does my desire lay Underneath my shadows Of images of lust Or over my mind In a fantasy of reality Where does my voice lay Towards the echo Of endless eternity Or a being Encompassing beauty Where does my reason lay Blackened with clouds Of ignorance and blasphemy Or on a cliff Ready to fall without reason Where does my love lay Shrouded in mystery Of Aristotle’s wisdom Or closed Like a flightless bird Endless passion, gone… Endless love, gone… Forgotten as the martyrs of lore I stand on my feet and unsheathe my sword At the trials ahead Forever drenched in conflict For the double edged love has consumed my fate © 2008 PakinoAuthor's Note
