What troubles the worldA Poem by Pakino
What troubles the world A desire of lust, greed Or a transparent hope that clouds our vision What troubles the world The darkness in our heart which we fail to see Or the withered tree looming before me What troubles the world False words and ignorant minds Or a clash with each other in a struggle for power What troubles the world Color of a skin that is unpure Or a transformation of the self like a dish washing machine Pity and sorrow, the dark ages are ahead For the darkness of our heart, mind, and soul grows stronger within © 2008 PakinoReviews
