Life is so fickle, exasperating,
delicate and intangible. Yet is is untameable, fierce uncontrollable and
unbelievably euphoric. We think it will last forever when really reminders are
all around us, explaining to us, just how fragile it is for our blood to surge
through our veins and for us to survive. The puzzle isn't solved. The pieces
seem to fall and shatter around me, yet minds are hopeful, hearts are wishful
but facts are reality, this will leave us, everything will dissolve. I’m
surrounded by people constantly buzzing around me, inconsiderately unimportant. Yet I have never felt so deeply, darkly and truly alone in my
heart, my mind and my soul.
Welcome to the world, Sarrah. Born alone, destined to die alone, never realizing that everything in between is exclusively yours to do as you wish. Instead, we invest it in others who don't deserve it. I grasped this writing with every experience of my life and applaud you for having written it.

Ahhhh, you are not alone. There are those of us out there that chase life like you do. With varying success but we are here. Living right along side you. In fact in every soul you look at you can see a piece of that. So even though you may feel a lone, there is a bunch of us right next to you, feeling alone to.
Great write. I love your topics, you have wonderful observations, and lessons to share!
Fascinating piece, Sarrah. I can relate to that feeling of being so "deeply, darkly and truly alone," although that seems to come and go.
I love the title of this, actually, "Them deep thoughts about life," because I do find that there's a lot of depth to the poem (or as some might call it, a "prose poem"). But the title makes it sound slightly sarcastic.
My favorite line out of the entire piece is "The pieces seem to fall and shatter around me, yet minds are hopeful, hearts are wishful but facts are reality, this will leave us, everything will dissolve." There's such a deep truth to that (and yet a very hard one to face). And yet, there's some peace of mind in realizing that all this, all the "solid matter" around us will one day disappear.

I'm someone who would love to be a writer in the future. To inspire people, or even make their day with a smile :]
For me, books are something that I can escape the world from and sink into a story .. more..
