NO MORE TEARS

NO MORE TEARS

A Poem by ~Paedams
"

This an poem about cheating and lies. How one woman took her pain from his deception and transformed herself like a butterfly set free from her cocoon.

"

No more tears for the way things should have been

Just walk away and lets not pretend.

You were no good from the very start

I stuck around and now you've broken my heart.

What we had was built on lies

I have nothing left, no more to cry.

I caught you hanging where you should not have been

Hugging and kissing your new girlfriend.

Why was I the last to know or

Did I miss the memo?

Like most guys you said you was hanging with your friends

Told them to lie for you and to pretend.

You got me, I must admit

I'm sick of the lies and bullshit.

Walk away, walk away, please walk away

Unless you want it to be your dying day.

My heart is aching from all the hurt and pain

Oh, God I just want to go outside and cry in the rain!

Hide my tears from showing how badly I am hurt

To release all the disappointment because of this jerk.

Stop talking to me, I can't stand to hear you anymore

Please, just walk right out my door!!

Don't look back there is nothing to see

This black butterfly has been set free.

Free to roam throughout this space

Free for the good things in this life to taste.

No more tears for what should have been

Nothing but joy, peace and laughter from now and until the end.
