What some see as being bold,
Is a story yet to be told.
It's an story of hurt and pain,
Enough tears to make it rain.
Women bear it all and cave from the burden
But once we rise, all you see is what left from the hurtin.
We may seem bitter and coy
Don't forget we are the one's, that raised you, baby boy.
For all you men that speak down on us,
We are the ones that have your back and hold your trust.
You say we beat you down with our words of disgrace,
We are just simply trying to finish this difficult race.
