THE STRUGGLE (Revised)

The Struggle is an poem based on the dynamics of a relationship between couples. Basically advising them of the rules of engagement (Stop, Think, and Listen) whenever domestic disputes arise. ~Paedams

For all those whom are hurting, hold your head up high,
Even through the times you must cry.
Regardless of what you are going through,
God is in the midst of it all, fighting for you.

Just sit back and let him use you for his will,
I know it's hard, but peace be still.

When it comes to relationships, we fight,
Not keeping the ultimate goal in sight.
We let our emotions stand in the way,
When all we need is to put God first and pray.

Putting God first helps us to succeed,
Hurting one another makes our hearts bleed.
It's not what we put into; but, take from one another,
We are to love and support and not smother.

When we beat one another down with words and forget our places,
Remember it's this discouragement that will have us in different spaces.
Women in our challenge to be heard, we destroy more than we help,
The hurtful words we say to him will be long felt.
Instead of standing tall, why not put our words on stall.

Men when you don't treat your women as God intended.
Your look of love will become suspended.
Remember, she's the flesh of your flesh and
The bone of your bone,
Treat one another with respect or lose your happy home.

YOU CANNOT KEEP A GOOD MAN NOR WOMAN DOWN,
A.P.P.R.E.C.I.A.T.E
OR TAKE YOUR CHANCES AND WEAR THE FACE OF THE CLOWN!!!
