I want to press your ear to my heart

until the steady thump, thump calms

your troubled mind.

I want to whisper my love against your lips

again and again so that you feel it

to your very core.

I want to kiss every inch of your soft,

scarred skin, and when the nightmares come

I want to hold your body close to mine,

and after they pass 

I want to hold you tighter still,

let our bodies mold into one as those jungle eyes

leave their dew on my chest.

My heart aches for you to finally realize your worth and

I want the knowledge to spread through you, to

warm you like the sun on your back.

"Wanna hook up?"

No. But I know what you mean.
