Our First and Last Love...A Poem by PadfootBlackShort, stubby fingers graze faded white stretch marks zigzags on the hips
like thunderbolts while eyes of wave-crest blue crinkle at the edges when constantly bitten lips part to reveal straight teeth that form a crooked smile. Pale thighs gently meet
like old friends as feet slide together causing small, dainty toes to wiggle and giggle like gossiping schoolgirls. Thin, light hairs traverse
the torso across soft belly flesh
and circling the navel shuddering to height at a lover's slightest touch.
Muscles outline beneath the skin shapely ovals in the arms and legs admired in the mirror with a grin visible signs of hard work paying off.
Mischievous, crisscrossing black hairs
above the eyes keep the tweezers busy but there's always one or two
unruly threads left. Collarbones protrude
just enough to be caressed
by someone's lips and sit below the tender throat that creates a deep, heartfelt laugh. This is me, and I am beautiful.
