Chapter Three

The empty space on my bed yearns for your presence the same way my heart aches to see you smile. Not for any elaborate reason, but simply because you are a comfort in my life that I never knew I could have. A small island of stability in the chaos that dwells in my mind. And for that I am grateful. I will miss you, more than either you or I will consciously ever realize. But I know that it's okay, because my love for you will forever trump the pain
