Put Me In A Coma. Now

Put Me In A Coma. Now

A Poem by Tilian Darko

I feel so intoxicated by sleep, laying on the couch with my blanket and fan on.
Yet my eye lids are black from the lack of sleep.
As I try to sleep more and more my body refuses, as does my soul.
Not till I am at my peak to actually fall asleep.
I daydream what It would be like to sleep more.
I daydream a dream that is worth sleeping for.
Sleep is all I want and think about.
Take all the sleeping pills, and finally, I'll sleep forever.
Where I will never have to wake.
This comatose state is my happy place where sleep will never leave my side.
