Part 2 (temporary title)

What happened after he went to sleep.

As Tom started to fall asleep, he felt a short tremble, as if for a few seconds the earth shook.

After what seemed only a few more seconds, Tom found himself in a dark room. Not the same dark room he would always find himself in. This time he was not alone. The dark room was painted dark red, and other children were occupying the room also. He noticed that there were about a dozen other children both girls and boys, sleeping on metallic beds. He then also noticed that this room not only was it larger an crowded, but that it also had a large metallic door. It had no way to open it. It had no knob nor a handle. The only thing Tom could see was that it had what looked like a small frame with buttons on the side. After a few minutes had passed, Tom started feeling sleepy, and in no time did he once again find himself asleep. Tom awoke with his arms wrapped around his face and part of his head on a work desk. As he sat up he noticed  a lot of computer monitors surrounding him depicting what looked like different diagnostic programs on, according to the monitors, artificial satellites orbiting earth. Tom slowly stood up feeling a little dizzy, he walked out of the office, until he noticed where he was. He was inside what appeared to be a military installation of some sort, and as he studied the enormous hangar, he noticed a giant telescope aiming at the sky. He also noticed what looked like an army of scientists working on machinery that wouldn't be shown to the public for another twenty years or so. As he walked on the catwalk above the room, he noticed a room that curiously had metalic walls, As he peered into the shiny surface, he noticed he wasn't who he is. He was in the body of a grown man. Tom noticed that he had blonde hair and blue eyes, instead of black hair had dark eyes. He was just about to leave when a young woman came in,"Doctor, i've been looking all over for you.""We're ready for you, for the experiment," she said and quickly left the room. She had red hair and blue eyes. She had white robes and a black skirt, which matched her black shoes. As she was leaving Tom suddenly heard a sort of radio turn on by itself. As he walked towards it with curiousity he heard a man talking,..........."Houston come in".........."Come in please Houston".........."This is Houston"........"Houston we see a strange object outside our shuttle".................."Uhhh, Bob could you be more specific, over"........"Well, I don't know how to say this Houston, but the object looks like a ship...." as Tom was getting more and more fascinated by the conversation being played he suddenly heard a loud noise. He then heard an alarm start ringing in the hangar.  He then started walking back toward the door.........."It appears.....orbiting earth...... firing at us!!" Tom then left the room and walked toward the exit, as he walked outside, he saw that he was on the roof of another building connected with the hangar, through the first floor. He finally saw what had made the noise, it was a nuclear explosion.

Yes I know its a lot of words, but I tried to describe things, in order for you to understand where the character was.
