Relentless the sound almost numbing
the sound of nature drumming on all
doesn't make a difference got to wait it out
or continue or fall
great accomplishments, feats, feasts
all in summer they smile
as fall reaches and clouds thicken
routine begins to trickle
life begnin and becomes more humble
society waits for the weekend to gather
random trips turn to weather forecasts
many give up hope
few hibernated spread their wings
made heavy by the rain struggle
cheeks pinch hear and there
not often enough my dear
fore granted we take what we have
jealously to what we have not got
too much sun and we curse for the rain
too much love and we beg for space
too much freedom break out the chains
the modest one is too boring for a change
the sober one needs to let loose
whilst the alcoholic scrapes pennies
the wealthy need humanity
and the poor human needs money
indifferent nature favors none
that's how this had all begun
be a bit more natural
take life as it comes
be like me
a nice guy fucked
happily grappling at loose ends
unable to tie knots
summer will come again
head down weather the storm
i keep telling myself
one day ill believe
