missing your otherhalf

This has obviously been inspired by an old coldplay song. Which in turn was inspired by the telephone directory, Yellow pages. So...... This poem has somehow been inspired by the yellow pages. (true Story)

If it was all yellow,

you would look beautiful,

I agree but you wouldn't be,

ugly from lack of light,

metaphor insight,

yes if I knew,

those were in your head,

I would a said something different,

I'd bleed my self to try,

just you and me,

that yellow light is a sign,

i know I see the flickers,

in time they will,

i promise you know,

we will grow and wilt,

not away from each other,

for each other,

and if you should go,

I would follow soon,

goodbye to those,

and bye to those,

I'd say goodbye to those you loved too,

like you'd say goodbye for me,

and I would weld tears that make lovers jealous,

my tears would grow old on my cheeks,

like you and me did together forever,

your mind may go wonder,

ill be here,

you may not be anymore,

but ill be here,

right next to you,

I will hold now but my clench would slack,

your palm not in my hand,

important to me,

right next on the list,

to being happy,

everything is a little,

alot for some,

I love you with that fire in your eyes,

the gleam of the yellow sun on your skin.
