Desert Rose: Part 8 The Dance

Desert Rose: Part 8 The Dance

A Poem by PP
"

Playful mood

"
The desert she walked with pride and wonder
Thirst and hunger, never crossed her ever
The fire in her soul lit up her trails
In the darkness of the night sky, it illuminated her glow
In this limitless search of the 'rose'
She bared her heart to the desert Ghost..
Dry and parched were her feet
Distorted imprints of the footsteps she left as she walked..

The sky above her head was at once blackened
Streaks of bright lights blinded her quaint eyes
The heaven roared at her in chagrined tone
As if to say how much he cares..
Of disappointed lover it smirked with limitless thunders
Showered upon her some massive droplets
Of adulterated divine

Oh the desert never smelt so fragrant
Sand beneath her feet was moist than ever
The trickles of purity swept past her lips
Sweating her dry eyes with calm whisper
Every bit of her the droplets touched
Even the fire which set her soul at blaze

On her two reckless feet she began to move
With arms wide spread like wings of an Eagle
She embraced this moment like a hawk
In blissful care, she began to spin

Oh Heaven set aside this plot to see her overwhelmed with joy
Oh desert her lover so deep
Even sketched unusual sightings
one of which was an upside down rainbow...

Quenched her petals,
grasp no more
infeeling senses
hit the floor.

Running now
in open joy
through silver fields,
her promised boy.

Beautiful place you took me in the words.
"On her two reckless feet she began to move

Good to fall into the desert and know peace. Thank you for sharing the outstanding poetry.

the heavens jealous of her love for the desert...showing it with an upside down rainbow...

lovely...she is a free spirit, guess heaven will just have to get used to it.

Wow… this is such a blissful read, I see someone being as one with nature, the most purest relationship you can have.
