Desert Rose: Part 6

Desert Rose: Part 6

A Poem by PP

The desert grew dearer to her
With each day of the gallant search
She found a little bit of herself
Fragrance of the melting sun rays
Clasped her bosoms in comfort
The mist of the night heaven
Rubbed gently her sun kissed face
The desert was in love with 'she'
She had no choice but to love back
Gripping those feet in fearless craze
she walked carelessly
And the desert laid its heart out to her bare feet
The sight of this pleasant affair
There was no one to see
The dusky breeze passing by
Picked up the news of falling in love
To carry it over oceans so deep
For it was a sight to feel
And feeling to see; Of
unraveling a traveler's heart
Who is in love with the desert so wild!

Please read through previous poems in this series if you like!!

Some people are born to ramble this earth. When you are wild at heart the open road is your true lover. I will have to check out the poems before this one.
