Lady WinterA Poem by PPPersonification of Winter as a lady!Lady Winter descends the seasonal stairs With graceful composure and an elegant demeanor, Eclipsing the Sun God, She carelessly descends, she smirks - to see its chagrined face. Yet she descends wearing her graceful dress. Carelessly but effortlessly - She spreads the cold fire upon each soul, Her chilly breath spares no ghost.. Moody mornings she has, so does the ones she embraces. She imposes long silent nights, To weave romance in many young hearts; Tucked away in cozy corners by the wood burning fire.. Her aroma fills the lives of ones she beholds With pleasant smell of love and hope, Just when her giving wasn't enough- She weeps so that she can cover her loved ones with snow.. She weeps yet weeps so silently, She pours out divine impeccable flakes of purity. She touches down on all our hearts.. O' so sweet is the Winter affair.. © 2014 PPAuthor's Note
