A locked up heart

A locked up heart

A Poem by PP

A cold heart
Slices soft cells of the brain
Leaving mind at unrest

Tears flow through the eyes
In spontaneous dribbles
To mark every wreckage
Brought upon by anonymous

Life's sorrows are drenched
In random ooze
When blisters of hope are overwhelmed
With burden of chaos

Finding meaning in existence
Becomes a matter of joke
Searching for the soul seems impossible

Life is replaced with horrors
And dreams with nightmares
Entity becomes a question mark?
Escape is the only desire.

That is all about living inside
A locked up heart.

Nobody can put fences around us... we do that ourselves and don't often realize it. Wonderfully written.

Thank you Jacob :)
The metaphors and pathos in this poem are so raw. The feelings so well portrayed.
