Blue Sand..Saffron Sea..

Blue Sand..Saffron Sea..

A Poem by PP

I sat by the saffron sea
Its reflection hit my eyes
As I soaked
more and more
of the velvet sunlight
So purple that its flash
melted the blue sand
The golden leaves of a
distant maroon tree
Flew by my me
I sat there eagerly waiting
for the white night sky
In my hollow body..

I really loved the imagery. I think that the part saying "so purple that its flash..." is a bit awkward, but just that little snipped bit. Overall really nice us of colors to create a space for the reader to inhabit.
