Desert Rose: Part 1A Poem by PPThe Search has begun!Drowning in the smoke Of a midnight's fog Crystals of sand Wrapped around the tempest's hand Glittering dust of gold Shining and twinkling as they fall from above Of shooting stars and their luck She doesn't care Walking along the Destiny's path Leaving footprints like scars Crushing pebbles and rocks And anything that comes along To the distant horizon Her journey has begun The ghost lights are gearing up Wearing their suits made out of fireflies In her welcome..getting ready are the bedouins Cooking up a feast of smoked camel relish Elixir of life; they will serve later in a glass made of ice.. In condition.. She has to feed the bedouin master's soul With molten petals of the rarest desert rose.. So she begins her hunt in the vastness in search of minimalistic life.. scavenges bed rocks, snake holes and dunes Puts every spec to inspection.. In the desert with no men She fights for her life.. © 2014 PPReviews
