Tranquilize!

Tranquilize!

Tranquilize me tonight
Shoot it up my veins
The veins are vile anyway
They won't break down
Silently collapse in a corner
Sleep may come and take over
That is my runaway venture
That is as far as I can get

I hate the feeling that
You are stealing my mind
Messing with my thoughts
And hate it when you say
I am losing my mind
Pressing too hard on my soul
Soul wants to let it all go

There is no scratching in the
empty pages of hope this time
It is loud and clear
When I look into your eyes
I can see that
you want to tranquilize me
Tranquilize my mind
Shut me up
Tranquilize my soul
'Cos baby I talk, and I talk too much
I feel and I feel too much
Suspicion is dragging me down
I am stoned
It is not the smoke
It is the sniff of what you grow in your garden

Tonight I want to get tranquilized
Shoot it up my vein
My veins need the vile
I want to feel tranquilized
Don't stop shoot it now
I will patiently drift
Won't keep coming back for more

I've got this feeling that
it will happen tonight
I will recite your name in the tranquility
It is easy
Tranquilize me tonight
Shoot it up my veins
They are vile anyway!

here is something sick and twisted and begging to be ended. you paint a dark picture here which transcends the comfortable edges of life and takes on the pain of others, to disastrous proportions. what an awesome piece!

Addictions of any kind can ruin your life because they will eventually grow to become more important then your loved ones... you spoke with a brutal truth but that is how it should be done.

I saw sex and the shame of it all over the place in here. Nicely written. And I had to smile at that cartoon syringe.. lol

Hi Steven thank you for the review! And the cartoon look how google image is losing quality!!! Lol
yes, what John said...a sweet release...but sad, kind of an "anything is better than this" feeling.

but i also think of those situations portrayed in movies and books...where people keep someone in an institution who doesn't belong there, they keep drugging that person just enough to make him or her think there is no way out...

True Jacob, insanity is a relative term! Very thin line between madness and genius LOL
A very well conveyed sense of longing to abandon reality in favour of some sweet release. The protagonist seems desperate to escape the current situation and just do anything to stop feeling the way she does.
