Emblem of Insanity..

Emblem of Insanity..

A Poem by PP
"

Don't know what made me write this!

"
If God and the Devil
were to compete;
Walking down the ramp of fashion
Adapting to feline motion
The Devil would look sexier
With bad boy moves
And purr like a tiger
grabbing the viewers attention
to admiration
Lots of Bare Bodies in Parade
With bulging lust
Animalistic instincts of pain and pleasure
Will roll into the world of
goodwill and faith
everything everywhere
from sex to orgasm
Practised with the loudest
of screams and noise
An alternate society
of prehistoric indulgence
Hysteria of chaos
Order of the day
Life of sins
Emblem of Insanity..

I believe poor Devil lost his job. People are dancing on the edge and have no concern today. Many reasons to have little concern for the future? I like the description and the many strong statements in the poem.

It`s the impurity that is attractive, isn`t it? ........the acceptance that we are all flawed makes it easier to assuage guilt. Very thought provoking, Prathama. P.

Seriously these lines have an extreme power of visualization. I fully agree with Coyote, that the Devil is winning all out. God is nowhere to be seen. Here God and Devil surely represent the people, righteous and evil. But true that the devil is more attractive, else the world would not have been walking that way!

Thank you Jeff :)
The ideals of what is right and what is wrong will be debated as long as life exists... a very compelling write... I love the kind that come to us when we don't know why.

Pleasure and lust aren't a bad thing, it only becomes bad when sadistic people say it is so...God and the Devil IMO is the greatest story ever told..and the keyword being story.
