Doubts

Why do people doubt so much these days?

Girls doubt their men are eyeing on someone else, 

Guys doubt their women are flirting away. 

"I doubt I can do it!"

"I doubt this is possible!"

"I doubt I am good enough for the job!"

"I doubt my existence!" 

Have heard people say all these so often these days 

Me thinks 

They just doubt and never try! 

What is it with this weird state of doubt;

Why do people want to be..

Halfway between belief and dis-belief? 

Why doubt so much when everything is uncertain 

Doubt is something 

That is neither 'yes' nor 'no'

It lies somewhere in between 

When I have doubts in my mind 

I place that 'I' in between 

'YES' and 'NO' 

They meet half way 

And it so turns out to be a 'SIN'

When this whole world is resting upon 

Trust 

A doubt in the mind we don't need 

To be certain and less doubtful 

Is the key to being happy.

the answer is easy because unfortunately , most people lie these days
its so rare to find honest , decent people , its rare !!
and good people get hurt so much for their honesty , this is why they turn to doubt a lot !! your poem its some how similar to mine which is in Arabic, in this idea..

Well they say ignorance is bliss and it seems that people would rather believe the best in others than deal with the truth... it also seems these days that loyalty is nearly extinct. Finding the line between trusting and being a fool is razor sharp.
