A Traveller's TaleA Poem by PP
A traveller's Tale
A traveller knows not Where is his home. A traveller never feels caught By the times bygone. A traveller's world is never permenant He breathes a different air everyday. Travels he under the scorching sun Travels he by many roaring shores Travels he across vast desserts Travels he amidst millions and more. Each day is a new learning, Each day is a new beginning. Each moment is an adventure, Each second is different from the other..! But, Sometimes he sits on his own, At the edge of an unmanned cliff Looking down into the depth of a vast ocean. He says to himself " My travels make me new every day, I love the variety and difference Good or bad everything is just a volatile effervescence I long for a companion Who celebrates my ever changing frantic mood Who knows I am a rolling stone that gathers no moss And who decides to do the same with me too!" I am a traveller and I don't settle, I long for a companion who can roll with me till I am dead.
