A Glass of Wine

A Glass of Wine

A Poem by PP
"

I write my feelings. I am not a poet, I let my feelings flow.

"
She begins to freak;
Because, her vision is blocked by parodies.
Stillness of the moment is taking over.
In a silent whisper she seeks;
Symphony of sweet melodies.
She pours the wine into a glass,
She loves the music of the trickling bliss,
Like riverines passing through gorgeous valleys,
Sets excitement in many of her untouched alleys.
Her plumptous lips
Thrill with every sip, sip after sips, untill many sips.
In a glass of wine she drowns;
Her thoughts,
She quenches her thirst and wets her soul.
Her face strikes out an awe as she frowns;
Her heart,
She thinks is playing foul.

A serene yet melancholy picture of a classically beautiful woman Her plumptous lips
Thrill with every sip, sip after sips, untill many sips." startled from the reverie of the music and into her own thoughts...how that music flows through her, energizes her, inspires her, the bliss she would feel if she stayed there in that moment.... I am hearing moonlight sonata here for some reason, or something more raw, something with such meaningfulness that she roller-coasters through emotion...soaring and drowning...you are exactly a poet in that you are real, letting your emotions pour out of you like wine that is just as bitter sweet.

I have spent some lonely nights with a glass of Merlot and finding a particular solace in the experience. You brought it all back here and because of that, I understood what your character was experiencing. Your phrasing is especially good with nice imginative concepts. I liked this one.
