Vicious Man

Vicious Man

A Poem by Paul Seaman
"

I life unexamined, is safer !

"

Vicious Man

I walk around with a

       big stick.

I can slay anyone

I can savage anyone

I see your hidden flaws

       the patches over crevices

          and cracks in,

       your person  --

I sense and feel

   the whisper of a soul

       behind the facade,

       the face,

   you present to Mankind.

I can crush it

       with a thought.

What I don't know how to do

       is...

   heal it.

Interesting poem, it raises curiosity and opinion that when a person is loved it does not have those feelings, maybe the solution is to look for a person that appreciates how we are so that those feelings do not arise inside persons.

Healing can come through writing by getting all the debris out of our hearts and minds, so that eventually the lovely thoughts will flow too. Destruction is always easier than construction thanks for pointing that out. I like the way the words are arranged in this poem. Lovely!
