Falling Down Around You

Falling Down Around You

A Poem by FantasyWriter01
"

I'm not suicidal, it's just something that popped into my head last night. I'm pretty proud of it.

"
What do you do,
When the world is falling down,
Down around you?
Shattering,
Shattering everything you thought you knew?
What do you do,
When the shackles you carry,
Can't take your pain anymore?
When the weight of living is heavier,
Heavier than your heart?
What do you do?
Tell me, because as I stand here,
Gun in one hand,
Memories in the other,
As I recount every bad day,
Every good day,
Every up,
Every down,
I feel the weight,
The weight of living,
Feel the words,
The hate,
The lies.
Feel my tears,
My blood,
My fears.
Hands shaking,
Gun loaded,
It finds my temple,
Drenched,
Drenched In tears and sweat.
I close my eyes.
What do you do,
When the world is falling down,
Down around you?

Any advice is much appreciated, as always! Be sensitive, though, I know this poem is a little bit scary. :)
