Life

Life

A Poem by Paul McCall
"

Just my own personal thoughts.

"

When my body becomes the empty vessel that once contained my soul, the empty shell that gave me life will wither and turn cold.

I’ll live on only in your memories until you too are gone.

It’s hopeful to think that our spirit will go on, and we will take a different form.

But I am certain that trust is wrong. It’s a one-shot deal and then were gone.

Live life to its fullest you won’t have a second chance.

If you have two legs dance through life while you still can prance.

Pennies from heaven is just a dream, don’t waste your time away.

That’s why I’m glad to wake in the morning and live another day.
