Just passing by

Before you all get uppity on me, this is just my opinion.

Kids today have been born into a, “Drive up window world” to quote myself. Times have always been changing but the internet has changed everything to the extreme, and for the worse more than the better, in my own humble opinion, of course.

The nineteen fifties truly were the, “Happy days”. Families were much closer in those days than they are now. Today, many times, more than not, if you ask a parent where their kids are you will often get a blank stare.

As I grew older, I came to realize how fortunate it is that life is terminal. The way I see it, this world will only get worse for those who will come after we are long gone.

Truth scares people, and those who tell the truth are often accused of pessimism, or like me called a, grumpy old man. I have been around for some time and have experienced many reasons to support my opinions.

I don’t know where this all came from; I was just sitting listening to classical music when the urge hit me to put this down. As we used to say in the military, “As you were” and I will ad, have a nice day.
