Darkness Lurking

Darkness Lurking

A Poem by Peter Castel
"

This is a poem that I wrote in a low point of my life

"
All your cries for help will go unanswered.
Just dive head first, straight into the abyss,
But put on a facade, that's the standard.
Maybe Death will grant you some sort of bliss.
You think of mistakes, all those in your past
Each thought makes you anxious to leave this world.
Frustration inside you starts to amass,
Those dark thoughts in your head makes your mind twirl
You want to be gone, to just disappear
Wanting to be so you never exist.
A battle within, but you have some fear.
Those chances to be gone, those chances you missed.
You want to be gone, to just fade away,
You can't do that now, but maybe someday...

I think a call to the crisis hotline is in order.
