The World Is Crashing Down- Part 18

Taylor’s P.O.V

 

          I looked at Calli while she was driving. What could she be hiding from her sister? “Calli, what else are you hiding from Emily?” I asked her. “Well,” I could see that she didn’t want to tell me. “I am hiding this from her.” She said as she pulled a paper out of her purse and handed it to me. I unfolded it and looked at it. My mouth hit the floor. It was Emily’s test results.

          “Are you stupid Calli?” I said looking at her. “Why are you hiding this from her? She needs to know what this is doing to her body!” “You don’t think I know that?” Calli hissed at me. “Look, either you tell her or I will. Do you realize that if you wait to long, it might be to late?”

 

Calli’s P.O.V

 

          I didn’t want my sister to die. I just didn’t know how to tell her. I never meant for all of this to happen. I mean, there was really only one thing I could do at this point even it hurt me.

          I stopped at the red light and turned my head towards Taylor. “Of course I know that. I mean, the cancer isn’t even spreading that fast. It is like a centimeter every two days.” I said going when the light turned green. “Calli, do you know what that could add up to though? The sooner you tell her, the better her chances of survival are going to be. Looking from this paper, it has been four days since it came in.” Talor said as she looked at me. “I know you want your sister to survive.” She was right. I did want that for my sister. I wanted her to be ahppy.

 

Emily’s P.O.V

 

            I was sitting in the back of Tom’s car. I rolled the window down to get some fresh air. I wanted to feel the crisp wind blow onto my skin. It was the only way I knew how to relax when I was in a car. I knew Calli and I had to forgive each other sooner or later. I loved my sister. She has basically been the only one who has been with me through the past for years. I knew the silence couldn’t last forever.
