#60- What I Want.

#60- What I Want.

A Poem by Paper
"

Just can't stop comparing.

"
"So what is it you want?"
R asks me.
Frustrated, maybe.
Curious, most likely.

"I suppose--
I'm lonely.
You're lonely.
Maybe we could
Be lonely together?"

Fast forward.
To a text from J.
And myself
Responding similarly
Without realizing it
At the time.

"But you don't understand.
We ARE alone."
She tells me.
