Two Myles AloneA Poem by P.H. CarverDr. Myles and his wife, Lived with their son on the hill, Three Myles alone, Happy if you will. Fast forward three years, Dr. Myles alone, With his wife on the hill, The son is gone. Sad and alone, The Myles did wonder, What could've been, If son we're still here. Three years ago, Before son left home, Father embraced son, "Good bye Jarome." With a tear in his eye, Son said to dad, "You're a saint, "he said, "Saving the weak, Healing the lame." To mother he turned, With greif in her eyes, She embraced her son, For one last time. © 2011 P.H. CarverAuthor's Note
