Thank You Sun

You keep me warm,

Cutting through the night,

Lighting my way,

And sustaining life.

Yet the day may come,

When you flicker from existence,

And I lay there dying,

Missing your strong stance.

We could never be together you and I,

For if I were to touch you I would surely die.

And so it must be,

Until the day we must part,

Thank you sun,

For your caring heart.
