Perspective Psalm

Perspective Psalm

A Poem by Zack
"

See the book of Job, the book of David, and the book of Psalms for literary background.

"

Job and King David: Unrelated;

aside from living lives they hated.

The first, scapegoat of Satan’s malice,

the next, a monarch in a palace.

Sons and crops, lost everything;

glory gained from stone and sling.

King led armies, Job led cattle;

in spirit, they fought the same battle.

A timeless value, both can teach:

that shallow judgement can deceive.
