Death by Coquetry

Death by Coquetry

A Poem by Jonhoi Vaughn

Goddesses do become deaf.
Even if I am muted
And the codex of language
Discarded
Aphrodite will not bloom.
No flower
Not to be rooted in soil of rocks
Metamorphic.
I am not this.
I am harder.
Steel is not an adjective... but my soul.
And I am harder...
River Styx, washed feelings...
I am more dead than this.
In fact... I am harder.
I am pulse and dick.
I am your sugar gadget, batteries not included.
Faceless kiss...
Disembodied touch.
I am smoke
Breeze
I am music
And I am something harder...
The blind eye of a needle.
C**k to womb,
I am harder
And Aphrodite will not bloom.
Much more than a saluting genital
I am a poem
Restless
Shaky
Uninspiring
Hitting all the wrong keys to create discord
And inject weakness
Not El Shaddai...
Not pranah for our love
Hara Kiri... No weapon...
Sepukku... No blade...
Kiss... No tongue...
Breath... No "us"...
God... No mercy...
Tears... No rain
I am:
Love... no "you"
I am:
Dove... No flight
Science ... No god...
Storm... No thunder I am...
Thunder... No Poetry.
My Love just is...
And my Love is more naked than Heaven's shaft
Gliding into Gaia's chasm
My Love is louder than the Universe
In mid-orgasm.
And I am harder.
Harder than Poetry
Harder than Love
Harder than Faith.

the words may be eternal, harder than steel lasting as long as the Love
