Poison Sleep

Poison Sleep

A Poem by Jonhoi Vaughn
"

Abstract, just the way I like it :-)

"

Herded into poetic discourse,

The molded clay I was became the situation.

I am the collage...

The human Legion,

Chided into Liquidity.

I am shapeless a.k.a. Charity the Doomsday...

Here lies the patience of water... dead in me.

I am liquid.

The cohesive anonymous.

Chased into evolution to expand.

Pulled from my roots to kiss the Architect;

Melting blessings from a sky fever.

This was the malfunction...

To sneak into a dream.

The comfort zone of poison ivy...

The familiar scent of dead smiles

The iron pillow fight.

The last four lines are poem titles that I wrote in 2006 during math class. I'll post them up for you guys someday.

Every poet should write the I AM. Though few of us will ever do it as successfully as you've done here. . .

I think any comment i make will give me groupie status so ill give it go. The blatant brilliance of this piece is only its calculated technicality. After this, its like staring into your own mortality.
