Mirror Sword (The Fabrications)A Poem by Jonhoi VaughnPlease No CSS <![endif]--> You, the world, surround us. When you’re ready we’ll see. We will see the sword. The one that cut the Source. Our mind mirrors lie. They fool us wide-eyed. Fool us into leaving earth. Leave you. Common, the way it calls out names… For us to invest in our hurt. To divide the cut that spreads the verve, Trickling from the deep incisions of the earth; The hole in you. Tall tales the mirrors profess… That we are… Pregnant and rife with bitter sweet wrongs and the taste of fetter. You… The mirrors in the earth stand before us, With fabricated realities. To reflect the sword that cut the source. To be paralyzed in a verve.
