Funeral of OneA Poem by Jonhoi VaughnLong Distance Relationships. Oh the woes...
I mourn me
When silence coils over the eardrums.
Machinations of life shutting us away.
I mourn.
Because I die a death provoked by the accumulation of:
Time
Of space.
Her dreams become that membrane through which my kiss shall osmose.
I mourn.
When death is labeled a quieted friend,
A worrying mother,
And howling dogs staring at ghosts.
Mourn me.
Through the eyes of glass panes.
Stained with lashes of rain and tears.
Mourn for the man in a quieted house,
A fireplace,
And rum.
And when I am groped by a mathematical love,
Fix her into the equation,
That anomaly,
Or mourn me.
