Scorpion ButterflyA Poem by Jonhoi Vaughn
My body spun a cocoon for my brain
I sat there in decay, withering... Death was just about the only mist Cold air under the sun ripped from my chi; I call it, the dusting of the Double Helix Troubled Healing, Heeling at the dark and draped in doubt I was trying too hard... And... I was too hard... I was two parts. "Dichotomy ", I said. "A gem-of-a-Gemini" like a gavel that had straight up Grounded me in the gallows And I galloped in this dream Womb to November 15. A Scorpio in a tomb, wishing for wings.
