Tip Toe OceanA Poem by Jonhoi VaughnI meandered somewhere along the spine of Life Stream A cold coil into the soul; Into vapour Into clouds A puff of smoke that was almost at the edge of a dream. Gradual and granular; a waltz atop silent breathing ocean... And it was so sweet and it was real quiet... That I heard whispers from the ice caps Yet to be spoken... Cries yet to be born... I heard... Leaves wrinkle... Petals crash and voices collide. Fires die... Shadows hide. And lovers sigh... Autumn's euthanasia still plucking at the strings. And in the middle was my soul Open wide... Yawning at midnight God...
