No closer than a glance

Sometimes it hard to live with loving someone who doesn't even know you exist.

 

The heart in my chest beats rapidly for your touch

Every mindful contact sets my heart at a clutch,

Those times I pass you in the halls,

Are nothing but those soundless calls.

With no more than a glance,

I wish you'd give me just one chance.

The sound of your voice,

And the smell of your breath,

Are like the endless whispers through the air,

And the paining slumbers that I bear.

Those restful nights I think of you,

And see the things that you do.

But these endless tears that I shed,

Are forever more just a pled.

Can't change this way that I feel,

Guess I must live on and have to deal.
