MarilynA Poem by Owlsnest
It seems we never knew you at all
we never understood the smile and we never saw the pain the truth hid behind the screens never revealing the broken seems all you wanted was perfection never letting go of all you could be beauty could not keep you when depression blocked your way you hid yourself away the public only saw a symbol that sex was all you stood for seduction, your greatest fear marilyn do not lie, lie on the bed that averts your eye 6,7 and 8 stole you away leaving an empty space no man could save for marilyn it could not be only a fantasy marilyn, dont go marilyn, please stay it can wait for another day 62 is the number 26, the creation 62. end
