Another Year

Another Year

Another Year

Fours Season's,

Travel with haste.

As a sleepy sun,

Begins to resurface.

With so many words,

Forming from ink.

Take a second to ponder,

A moment to think.

Patterns are forming ,

Connections exchange.

Reminiscing about the good,

Letting go the bad.

Achievements in abundance,

Obstacles overcome.

Twists and turns still to unfold,

Before the new year has begun.

I'll take some liquor,

To celebrate,

Continued life,

Plus another year,

Gone by.

A beautiful, and a tad melancholic, lovely piece which resonates somewhere inside :)
