NervesA Poem by Owen AldinAbout a beautiful woman on a trainNerves She smiles, They speak out and dazzle me. I hesitate, Do I go? What do I say? Took long, The moment’s gone. But wait, She glances again, I open my mouth, But nothing comes out. Her eyes wonder, And I am back at the beginning. The chance is wasted, I procrastinated, It had to be then, My courage is spent. She curls up, Gets comfortable, Beauty is her ally, It stays follows her path. Her smile and lips, Her shape and class. Entranced by her aura, She has no bad sides, To speak with this beauty, I had until the end of the ride. My determination pushes me again, To ask her name. Scared of what might come out instead, So gazing at her from a far is my choice, Knowing I will never see her again. So appreciating the view! © 2016 Owen AldinReviews
