ABUSE TALES "AVANA'S SECRET" 1

This is a collection of poems concerning sexual abuse tales. This is the first poem that depicts childhood and teenage abuse and rape. Avana is one of my poetic characters, she tells her hidden story.

As a young girl, I was Raped
And been a Loner,
I never understood the meaning
Of been ripped apart
Until I got off teenage age.

It was Papa, standing behind
The Mask
And
When night falls,
He came like a whirlwind
And
Ate me up, chewing
And
Biting, Piercing
And
Sucking
Until I was lost in thoughts
And though I tried to displace
My real being from myself,
I been just one,
Couldn't help but face
The fears and shadows
That flocked around me.

Even though Papa haunted me
So much,
He made me believe that it was
The only way to get the devil out of
Me.

This happened every other night,
As I became his sex toy
Where he unleashed his frustration
From his psychopathic tendencies
On,
Piercing through my body,
He killed my soul
Over
And
Over
Again,
Till I was shattered,
Never to be mended.

I will be telling this tale
With a sigh someday,
When I am bold enough
To face the world
And
Even though
I was always that girl
Who couldn't smile again,
At least this gives me
A little peace within, by writing
This dark
Secret
And
I hope it give others
An impulse
To tell
Their
Mystery tales
Someday.
