Death dreams of revenge
And I dream of Death
That is, if I ever find sleep
As the voices in my head
- Speaking in tongues as they always do -
Tell me the tales that make simple men heros
And great men come to ruin
I thought about that all the time
As I walked to the bus stop
Riding to work, sitting quiet and unassuming
Knowing all along
A wolf among sheep
And a monster among these "men"
I am so easy to overlook
Yet so impossible to forget
After the fact, after I act
