Venomous KissA Poem by James Helm
As I embrace you, in moonlit blackness
The light shines down, igniting your eyes Glistening like emeralds, they scorch my sadness As your lips caress mine, sorrow dies Your smile, like your love, I can't resist poisoning me with the graceful touch of it's lips Sweet is the taste, everlasting in bliss Those are the symptoms of your venomous kiss Waist deep in the water, our bodies collide As the ripples echo, the fauna springs to life I hope this lasts forever, till this lake becomes a grave And our corpses rot together, beneath it's dark blue waves Your smile, like your love, I can't resist poisoning me with the graceful touch of it's lips Sweet is the taste, everlasting in bliss Those are the symptoms of your venomous kiss © 2013 James HelmReviews
